Geraldine McIninch Hall

She was born December 8, 1915 in Manchester, N.H., the daughter of John Aubrey and Gula (Ruiter) McIninch.

She attended local schools, graduating from Manchester Central High School in 1933 and attended the University of New Hampshire after which she worked for the Public Service Company in the Engineering Department.

She married Frederick S. Hall in 1939 and they lived in the Washington, DC area for three years and then at the US Military Academy at West Point, NY, moving to Concord in late 1945.

She was a member of Concord Garden Club, Flower Mission, Concord Hospital Associates and the P.E.O. Sisterhood, Chapter B, Concord, NH.

She also served on the Board of United Way, Visiting Nurse Association, Concord School Board (1959-1965), Board of Trustees of Concord Hospital (1972-1984), and was a member of Capital Region Health Care Corporation.

She was a 6O year member of South Congregational Church where she once served as Deaconess and was the first president of Madisses Circle.

She enjoyed good music, gardening, hand-stitchery, antiquing and playing bridge, as well as sailing with her husband along the coast of Maine and the warmer waters of the Caribbean. But most of all she enjoyed activities with her family.

She is survived by a son, William S. Hall, and his wife, Eleanor, of Bow and a daughter Elizabeth Cate and her husband, Warren, of Franklin, a grandson, Bradford S. Hall and his wife, Kiersten, of Hopkinton, a granddaughter, Deborah Andrews and her husband, David, of Hopkinton, MA, four great grandchildren, Emma and Grace Hall and Molly and Daniel Andrews and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick S. Hall in 2002, and by a brother, Ralph A. Mclninch of Manchester.

There will be no calling hours.

Private graveside services will be held at the Blossom Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 December 8, 2015 at the South Congregational Church.
