Helen Gould

The daughter of Charles Alvo and Meda Pearl (Munn) Gould, Helen was born in New Haven, Connecticut on October 31, 1940 and raised in Plymouth, New Hampshire, where she graduated from Plymouth High School.

Helen faithfully maintained life-long relationships with her classmates from Plymouth High School’s Class of 1959, her extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and developed close friendships in the New Hampshire and Florida communities she called home.

A talented artist, Helen shared the beauty of art and joy of music with family and friends alike and brought joy, laughter and love into the lives she touched. Helen was blessed with an adventuresome spirit and generous heart that guided her throughout her college years while attending Concord Commercial College and later graduating from Notre Dame College in Manchester. In her career, she chose the path less traveled and pursued her passions in business with Blue Cross-BlueShield, in graphic arts with New England Distributors and as a talented hair stylist.

Helen was predeceased by her second husband, Lucien Paiement. She is survived by her daughter, Jamie Ellen Tonneson of Hooksett; her son, Sean Patrick Tonneson of Coral Gables, FL; three grandchildren , Victoria Ashley White of Hooksett, Logan Richard and Ethan Jean Edward Tonneson of Coral Gables, FL; two sisters, Betty Ann Gould Riley and her husband Charles of Warden, WA and Jo-Ann Gould Alessandrini and her husband Bernie of Worcester, MA; two brothers and their wives, Charles and Catherine Sena Gould of Edgewood, NM and Jonathan Jay and Rebecca Harrington Gould of Bristol, NH; and her beloved Dachshund, Max.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. followed by a memorial service at 11:00 A.M. at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 North Main Street, Concord. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
