Jeffrey David Beaton

Jeffrey D. Beaton, 63, of Hollis, NH, formerly of Mansfield, MA, passed away Thursday, August 29th with his family present after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Kelley) Beaton, with whom he shared 38 years of marriage; his two daughters Alyssa Mulcahy and her husband Nick Mulcahy of Auburn, MA and Meghan Beaton and her fiancée Samantha Clarke of Warwick, RI; and two grandchildren Ella and Matthew Mulcahy of Auburn, MA. He was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather. Jeff is also survived by his father William Beaton and his wife Dianne Beaton of Ruskin, FL; his mother Joan Belanger of Manchester, NH; and his sister Judy Gagne and her husband Mark Gagne of Duluth, GA.

Jeff was born in Lynn, MA and graduated from Barrington (RI) High School. He then graduated from Northeastern University, where he earned his BS degree in mechanical engineering and met his wife Nancy. He went on to spend over 35 years working for General Dynamics (formerly GTE). He loved cooking, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed being outdoors; running, swimming, gardening and just soaking up the sun. He also loved tinkering on cars, especially his old Mustang.

Visiting Hours are on Friday, September 6th from 4 to 6 p.m. at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 North Main Street, Concord, NH 03301. Limited parking is available in lot with entrance off Church Street). All are also welcome to his graveside funeral on Saturday, September 7th at 11 a.m. at Smith Meetinghouse Cemetery, Meetinghouse Rd, Gilmanton, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).
