

Joseph A. Mazzuchelli, Jr., 78, of Goffstown, NH, passed away on November 27, 2025. Born on July 12, 1947, Joe lived a life defined by service, faith, family, and an unwavering commitment to helping others.
Joe proudly served 36 years in the United States Army, retiring with the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 4 from the 366th Criminal Investigation Division. His dedication to his country was matched by his devotion to his community. Deeply rooted in his Catholic faith, he was active in parish life for many years—organizing and leading youth mission trips to Honduras and later serving as a Deacon at Saint Elizabeth Seton Church in Bedford, NH. Joe was also a committed member of the Knights of Columbus.
A graduate of Bentley University with a degree in Accounting, Joe went on to build a meaningful civilian career. He served as the full-time office manager for the Colonial Shopping Center in Waltham, Massachusetts, and previously worked as the full-time Office Manager for the 366 CID Army Reserves. His colleagues knew him as a steady presence, a natural leader, and a man of integrity.
Joe’s passions were as numerous as they were heartfelt. A devoted Boston Red Sox fan, an enthusiast of antique cars, and a true WWII history aficionado, he was known by many as “a living historian.” His curiosity and love of learning enriched every conversation, and he shared his knowledge freely and joyfully.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Mazzuchelli, and their beloved dog, Bella, his constant companion. He is also survived by his sister, Laura Fonte and her husband Ven; his brothers, Richard Mazzuchelli and his wife Anita, and David Mazzuchelli and his wife Roseann; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, and numerous extended family members who will miss him deeply.
He was predeceased by his sister JoAnne; and his parents, Anna Mazzuchelli and Joseph Mazzuchelli, Sr.
Joe will be remembered for his generosity, humility, and steadfast faith. His love for family, service, and community leaves a legacy that will endure in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Services are as follows: Calling Hour from 10AM-11AM, with a Chapel Service at 11AM on December 12, 2025, at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., Concord NH. Burial will follow immediately at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen NH.
