June Ann Harsh, 88, of Epsom, NH, passed away in her home in the comfort of loved ones on January 18, 2026, after a short illness with cancer. Born on July 22, 1937, in Concord, New Hampshire, to parents John and Ethel (Mason) Dennis, June went on to marry the only love of her life, Marvin (Buddy) L. Harsh Jr. They would spend the next 48 years together until his passing in 2005.
Shortly after graduating from Pembroke Academy, June started a career as a stitcher at the Globe in Pittsfield, NH. Her parents would pester her, “June, why don’t you get a nice secretary job like your sister?” To this, June replied that she liked the satisfaction of working with her hands. She worked there for 35 years, where she was admired for her dedication and skill. That skill would later serve her lifelong hobby as an avid quilter, with many a bed and a baby adorned with lovingly made quilts.
She loved a good book, a game of Scrabble, the challenge of a puzzle, and the simplicity of an afternoon filled with cross-stitching, country music, and football. During her marriage, June enjoyed trips with Bud, driving down the coast to Florida. Their home in Epsom was often filled with the sounds of Bud’s guitar and the laughter and cheer of their many friends, neighbors, and family.
June’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her, especially her long-time best friend, Carol. June cherished their weekly adventures for breakfast, shopping, beach trips, weekend yard sales, and more. She also loved visits and long phone conversations with her sister-in-law, Jill Harsh, and Dot Lasko, as well as her many dear cousins.
June’s legacy continues on in her son, Steven (Dawn) Harsh, and daughter, Rhonda (Bill) Simoneau; grandchildren, Cody (Daisy) Harsh, Kristie Caron, James (Amber) Caron Jr., and Douglas Cote; and great-grandchildren, Forest, Faron, Mariella, Jesse, Julian, Myles, and Yennifer. She was predeceased by her husband, Buddy, and sister, Lorraine McGlinchey.
June Ann Harsh's memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will forever be remembered as the last mother of Windymere Drive, her longtime home where her warmth and kindness made her a mother to many. To those in need, she was a confidante, a support, and a friend. June was cherished, she was loved, she will be missed
A burial will take place in Spring. Bennett Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements and service updates.
