

On February 17, 2026, Marlene(Bresaw) Lavin) Fritz loving wife and mother of two sons left this world at age of 91. Marlene was born on January 17, 1935 in Concord, N.H. daughter of John R. Bresaw and Dora R. (Provencal) Bresaw and lived in N.H. until her retirement.
She graduated from Bow Grammar School in 1949 and from Concord High School in 1953. Marlene retired from the State of NH after 30 years, the last being with Health & Human Services in Manchester.
She was married to Arthur G. Fritz on 06/09/79 in Bow, N.H. They lived in Londonderry, N.H. and retired to Port Charlotte, Fl. in 1995. She was a member of the Port Charlotte and Arcadia Garden clubs and volunteered at Fawcett Memorial Hospital and Share. They returned to Concord in 2019. She loved traveling in her retirement with her husband and traveled summers in their motorhome. She also enjoyed her family, dancing, knitting, playing cards, crossword puzzles, jig saw puzzles, and enjoyed her flowers and plants.
Marlene is survived by her husband Arthur G. Fritz of 46 years; a sister Bettie L. Martel (shopping buddy) of Concord, brother John R. Bresaw and his wife Carol, of Florida, step children Joel and wife Sherry of California, Robbi Portela and husband William of Maine, Kyle and his wife Kristen of Maine, daughters in law Susan Lavin of Pembroke and Jane Lavin of Franklin, grandchildren Derek, Brooke, Brandon, Leo IV, Craig; step grandchildren Alex, Camrin, Tyler, Joel, Caitlin, Ben, Caleb, Nathan, Mackenzie and Brandy; great grandchildren Colbe, Aaden, Ava, Leo V and Stella; step great grandchildren Lauren, Owen, Amalia, Olivia, Bryan, Olivia and Eleanor; nieces Valerie, Vanessa. Virene, Karen and Jill, nephews Joe and Trevor; and great great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Leo A. Lavin, Jr. in 1973, her sons : Leo A. Lavin III in 2024 and John R Lavin in 2006; her parents: Dora R. (Provencal) Bresaw in 2019 and John R Bresaw 1981, step daughter Carla Allen in 2020.
A visiting hour will be held at March 5, 2026 in the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N Main St, Concord, NH from 10:00-11:00 am. A celebration of life will begin at 11:00 am followed by burial at Blossom Hill Cemetery, Concord, NH.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Marlene's name should be made to a local elderly and/or child's organization.
