Mary Jane Rousseau

Mary was born the youngest of 13 children, on December 17, 1924 in Concord, the daughter of George and Mary Elizabeth (Baker) Cox.

She was a lifelong resident of Concord until recently when she moved to Sunapee to live with her daughter Brenda and grandson Jason and great grandchildren.

Mary had worked at the NH State Hospital in Concord for fifty years.

Her surviving family members includes two sons: Eugene Spaulding and Cary Spaulding; three daughters: Rebecca Colby, Brenda Fifield, and Sarina Whittier; 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter Gayle (Spaulding) Simard, and by all 12 of her siblings.

A calling hour will be held on Monday, March 26 from 1:00 to 2:00 at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St, Concord, NH with a funeral service to follow at 2PM, followed by a burial at Blossom Hill Cemetery in Concord.
