Peter J. Blanchard

He was a member of the Concord High School, Class of 1955. Peter served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Forrestal from 1955-1959.

Most of his life was spent operating Blanchard’s Chair Re-Seating and the family Christmas tree farm on Hopkinton Road.

He leaves his wife of 45 years, Elizabeth; his children, Robert, David, Scott Dukette; Tammy, Kenneth, Peter, Penny, Terri Blanchard; his grandchildren, Peter, Jessica, Luke, Ian and Neil; and his great grandchildren, Kendall, Mia and Adrianna; his sister, Nancy Shea of Concord and her children, Paula, Kurt and Sarah; and his cat Tigr.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Concord. Burial will take place at 2:30pm at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
