Richard W. Follansbee

A resident of Loudon, N.H. for over 20 years, father to Krystle-Lynn and Michael, Nurturing Loving and devoted husband of over 25 years to Wanda Smith Follansbee. Born in Concord, he was the son of the Late Reginald C. Follansbee, Jr. and Beverly A. (Hobson) Follansbee currently resident of Boscawen NH. Raised in E. Concord a sibling to James Follansbee, Donald Follansbee , Russell Follansbee, Pamela (deceased), Michael Follansbee, Ruth Palitka , Robert Follansbee , Gloria Mullavey, Terry Follansbee, Lloyd Follansbee and Regina Welsh and their spouses, his In-law Mother and Father-In- law: Judy and Larry Smith , Sisters in- laws, Donna Farrell and Nancy Smith as well as many nieces and nephews.

Rick was a Road Captain for the March of Dimes Bikers for Babies, avid supporter of the American Red Cross, donating over 14 gallons of blood. Chapter member of the New Hampshire Harley Owners Group, Concord High School class of 1980, and continuing his education over the years

He was employed at the State of NH liquor Commission warehouse for over 25 years, becoming a Warehouse Supervisor III and Union SEA Steward

He enjoyed his time with family and friends, riding his Harley, his many miniature horses, his dogs, cats, puzzles of any kind, wildlife around his home, watching the stars, and the birds that visited his many feeders.

Rick was always kind, caring, supportive person with the quick witted traditional Yankee humor. Rick touched many lives and we were all blessed for the time we spent with him.

Funeral services will be at the East Concord Congregational Church, 51 Mountain Road, Concord on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 4pm.

Calling hours will be held at the Bennett Funeral Home 3 Church Street Chapel (the Brick Building) on Thursday, June 30, 2011 from 4pm-7pm.
