Richard was an avid reader of history and politics. He was a very friendly and gentle man. He attended New England College as well as Roger Williams University. He spent many years as a bartender at Thursdays Restaurant in Concord, NH and then became a skilled carpenter.
He is survived by his sister Judith; his brother Bill, and his three nieces Melanie, Jennifer, and Alison. Rick was predeceased by his loving wife Diane Donovan.
The family would like to thank the staff at Beacon Hospice, Cornerstone VNA, and Edgewood Centre of Portsmouth, NH for their compassionate care.
Those who wish to commemorate Rick’s life may make memorial donations in his name to the Pope Memorial SPCA Concord- Merrimack. Services are private.
