Better known as "Jonesy". He was a motorcycle cop in Manchester, licensed private
Detective, he went on to become an undercover narcotics agent in NY., jack of all trades, maker of hot sauce leaving a spicy smell throughout the house. He would give to friends and they would want more. His wife being Irish held on to the idea of spice was salt.
He was a lover of cars, jazz music and fast motorcycles, a big teddy bear with a rough and tough persona. He truly loved his wife and family He was very entertaining with his war stories. He was born on May 16, 1929 in Manchester NH.
Jonesy was not a man to boast of his many accomplishments. Smart, funny and ate peanut butter sandwiches. He considered McDonalds fine dining. Many mornings he visited with "the guys" at Dunkin Donuts. He disliked chicken and often commented that he would not eat anything that smelled bad either dead or alive.
Animal love propelled him to volunteer at the animal shelter to comfort abused animals and lost and unwanted animals. He even consented to have a toy poodle name Missy. To this day, he would say she was not a real dog, like a German Shepherd. However he loved her just the same.
He was predeceased by his mother, Valerie (Poludniak), his father Lawrence Jones and his son Robert Jones Jr. He is survived by his wife Peggy McAllister Of Goffstown, NH, his brother Edward Jones of Fayetteville, North Carolina, his daughter Valerie of Port Charlotte, Florida, three grandchildren Scott Caron of Northport, Florida Jesse Dunlop of Barnstead NH, and Bob Jones 3rd of Concord. NH and 6 great grandchildren. They called him Ginga and was loved by each of them. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Janet Brown of Concord, NH.
A service will be held on Tuesday, October 29th at 11:30 sharp at the
