Ronald Albert Goodine

CONCORD-Ronald A. Goodine, 82, of Concord, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 28, 2016. He was born in Barre, VT in 1934 the son of Carroll and Rosezella (Miller) Goodine. Ronald graduated from Bradford Academy in 1953 and enlisted in the U.S. Army and served for 3 years. On June 15, 1958 he married Mary Louise Kidder.

Ronald was employed at Merrimack County Savings Bank for 37 years. He was a member of the Concord Kiwanis Club, Wesley United Methodist Church, board member of the Child and Family Services, Treasurer for the United Way of Greater Concord and past president of the AIB Concord Chapter.

Ronald enjoyed golfing at Duston’s Country Club in Hopkinton twice a week, traveling with his wife, golfing while spending winters in Florida, going to the beach and spending time with family.

He was predeceased by his father, Carroll Goodine.

His family members include his wife, Mary Louise Goodine of Concord; his mother, Rosezella Goodine of Waterbury, VT; daughter, Rhonda Letendre and her husband, Bernie of Pembroke, NH; daughter, Michelle Blanchard and her husband, Dick of Monroe, NH; son Mark Goodine of South China, ME; grandchildren, Kelley Young, Naiomi Letendre, Heather Dejesus and Amanda Tisbert; great-grandchildren, Gabe Dejesus, Audrey Maring, Dakota Bohner, Brook Bohner and Mia Dejesus; brothers, Sheldon and Carroll Goodine and sister, Betty Johnson.

A Celebration of Ronald’s Life will be held at Wesley United Methodist Church, 79 Clinton St. Concord, NH, on Saturday November, 5 at 11am.
