Alan Brian Quackenboss, age 65, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at the Life Care Center in Banner Elk, NC. Born January 13, 1953, in Milan, Michigan, he was the son of the late Norman C. Quackenboss and Helen Sylvester Quackenboss.
Those left to cherish his memory is his brother, Rev. Dennis Quackenboss and wife, Carolyn of Newland, NC; nephew, Joel Quackenboss and his wife, Kristen; nieces, Leah Deal and husband, Chris, and Anna Bedzinski and husband,Tomasz; and 8 great-nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Hickory, NC with Rev. David Ziehr officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.
