Cynthia Ann Darity

Cindy was a strong Christian woman, a devoted mother, a loving sister, and an exceptional grandmother. Her faith, strength, and love for her family were evident in all she did.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett Carswell Darity Jr. and Betty Jane Evans Darity.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved partner of 17 years, Jerry Stewart; her daughters, Kristin Meier and family, Kaleigh Reinhardt and family, Kelly Davis, fiancé, and children; and her sisters, Terry and Tonya.

Cindy deeply cherished her role as a grandmother and adored her five grandchildren, speaking of them often with pride and love.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her throughout the years in both Georgia and North Carolina.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Carolina Caring, Catawba Valley Medical Center, Frye Hospital, Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, and The Greens at Viewmont for the compassionate care provided. The family also sincerely thanks Oxford Baptist Church for their love, prayers, and faithful support, which meant so much to Cindy and her family.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember Cindy’s life.
