Daphine Carver

She was born August 2, 1944 in Lincoln County to the late Clarence Winslow Craig and Velma Mary Elizabeth Hudson Craig.

She loved and cared for others with a selfless heart just as our Heavenly Father loves the church. She is remembered for her kind and loving spirit, always sacrificing for others.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Harold Craig and Ralph Craig; and special friend Polly Dehart.

Survivors include her son, Donald Carver II; daughters, Twanna Deese and husband, Rodney, and Donna Carver; grandchildren, Tiffany Rathbone and husband, Joshua, Ronnie Deese, Aaron Summey, Amber Wilkerson and husband, Brian, and Donald Carver III; great grandchildren, Shaun Miller, Shayne Rathbone, Crescence Deese, Addalyn Wilkerson, and Baby Wilkerson; former husband, Donald Carver; friend, Debbie Blanton; sisters, Mildred Holman, Mary Lou Tyree Hubbard, and Nancy Shrum; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Bobby Bumgarner.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25, at Emmanuel Reformed Church in Lincolnton, NC. Dr. Keith Brown will officiate.

The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
