

Born December 8, 1930 in Alexander County, she was the daughter of the late Gaither and Etta Lail. She worked at Century Furniture for many years and was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Claremont. Dot enjoyed camping and dancing with her husband, George. She also enjoyed playing golf and gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Bessie Holland; brothers, Eugene, Donald, Jimmy and Larry Lail.
Left to cherish her memory are the love of her life, her husband of sixty six years, George Fox; daughters, Brenda Honeycutt and husband, Don, Nancy Fox, Pam Bentley and husband, Danny; son, Terry Fox and wife, Vickie; grandchildren, Quintina Jolly and husband, Jody, Tonya Beam and husband, Robby, Tiffany Chapman and fiancé, Reggie, Tasha Lackey and husband, Bradley, Summer Blackburn and husband, Chad, Shane Bentley and wife, Jonna, Coty Fox and fiancée, April, Dylan Fox and fiancée, Danielle; twelve great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; sisters, Doris Sebastian, Cindy Kelsoe and husband, George; brothers, Gary Lail and wife, Brenda, Gwen Lail and wife, Theresa.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Monday, December 21, 2015 at Bethel Lutheran Church at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Eric Hollar, Rev. Craig Schultz and Rev. Mike Ramey officiating.
Her family will receive friends on Monday from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service.
