Faye O. Fraley, age 82, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Jordan Oaks Retirement Community in Cary, NC. Born August 10, 1933, Faye was a homemaker and member of St. John’s United Methodist Church in Hickory. A longtime resident of Conover, Faye was an avid flower gardener, painter and enjoyed crocheting.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Robert Lee Fraley, six brothers and one sister.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Charles Fraley and wife, Barbara, of Apex, NC; brother, Arnold Huntsinger; grandchildren, Jason Fraley and wife, Bobbie Jean and Felicity Fraley; and great-grandchild, Caitlyn Fraley.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Conover. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Hickory, NC. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Her family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00 to 1:45 prior to the service.
