Faye Baxter Willis, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at her residence. Born February 10, 1935, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Howard Kilgo Baxter and Connie Lucille Clark Baxter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Jerry Baxter, Donnie Baxter, Howard Baxter; and a sister, Peggy Baxter.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 45 years, Ernest Edward Willis; son, Billy S. Schronce Jr. and wife, Carol; daughters, Faye J. Rudisill, Billie Jean Latos, Dane L. Black and husband, Allen; sister, Ruth Stowe; twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Keener and Roger Grindstaff officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery in Catawba, NC.
The family will receive friends Friday, October 16, 2015 from 12:00-12:45 p.m. at Drum Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be the grandsons of Mrs. Willis.
