In addition to her parents, Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Ross E. Heafner; son, Douglas Heafner; daughters, Nancy H. Propst, Brenda H. Steelman; brothers, Vance Adams, Robert Adams, Gill Adams; and sister, Eula A. Dye.
Grace was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and she loved spending time with her family. Grace loved her church and was devoted to her faith.
Those left to cherish Grace’s memory are son Carson Heafner (Doris) and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2pm-2:45 at Eastside Baptist Church, 725 East 11th Street, Newton, NC 28658
A celebration of life service will be held at 3pm on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at Eastside Baptist Church with Pastor Don Sigmon officiating. Burial will follow after the service at East View Cemetery in Newton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Eastside Baptist Church, 725 East 11th Street, Newton, NC 28658.
