Loyane “Ann” Maria Conway Propst, 51 of Hickory, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born November 17, 1971 in Catawba County NC to the late Charles Randolph Benfield and Gloria Faye Schoolcraft Benfield.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Nicholas Propst; and brother, Ernie Ball. She enjoyed helping at the interfaith prison ministry for women.
She is survived by her sons, Chris Walls, James Propst Jr. and Randolph Propst; sisters, Tracy Garland and Shelly Kelly.
Gathering of friends will be held Friday, April 28, 2023 from 2-4pm at Drum Funeral Home in Conover.
