Nancy was born March 29, 1926 to the late Merle and Thelma Bushyager in Jeannette, PA. She graduated from Jeannette High School and married Tom Patterson in 1944 in Walla Walla, WA. They spent many years in Jeannette, PA before relocating to North Carolina, and then moved to The Villages in Lady Lake, FL before returning to North Carolina.
Nancy had many interests which included her church, Bridge, Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, and Hospice Care.
Nancy is survived by her four children: Bonnae, who has three children and five grandchildren; Tom who has three children and two grandchildren; Rich, who has one child; and Susi who has three children.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the Episcopal Church of St. Peter By-The-Lake with Rev. Beth Lilly officiating.
The family will receive friends in the Furr Hall following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Episcopal Church of St. Peter By-The-Lake, 8433 Fairfield Forest Road, Denver, NC 28037.
