Paul Revone Barringer

Born January 17, 1932 he was the son of the late William Hobart and Lillian Gertrude Setzer Barringer. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Ernest Barringer, Glen Barringer and Alex Barringer.

Paul was a lifelong member of Bethany United Church of Christ and Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ and he was an US Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Alma Barringer of the home; sons, Steve Michael Barringer and wife, Donna of Conover, Kelly Bryon Barringer of Denver, NC; sister, Mary C. Barringer of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Kristen Sims and husband, Matt of Conover and Lauren Barringer of Cornelius; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 am on Monday, April 25, 2016 at Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ in Conover. The Rev. Peggy Stout will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the Church.

A service of committal will be held at 2 pm on Monday at Bethany United Church of Christ Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ, 217 2nd Ave NE, Conover, NC 28613.
