He was born in Indiana to the late DeWaine Henry and Telitha LaVaun Carpenter Miller.
He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and also of the Catawba Valley Community Chorus.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Phyllis Miller.
Those left to cherish her memory are his daughter, Kerry Eischen; son, Brian Miller and wife Aimee Perez; grandchildren, Collin and Liam Miller, Zoë and Jacob Eischen; sister, Kathy Linebarger and husband Bill; brother, Robert “Bob” Miller and wife Kim; and a number of extended family.
A celebration of life service will be held at Drum Funeral Home Chapel at 12pm Saturday, December 11, 2021.
The family request that everyone attending wear a mask and social distance.
The family will receive friends following the service at Drum Funeral Home at 1 to 2pm.
