

Born July 16, 1923 in Grafton, WV, he was the son of the late Robert Lee Bolliger, Sr. and Maudie Lucas Dunigan. He graduated in 1940 from Grafton High School. Mr. Bolliger retired as a supervisor from Old Dominion Box Company, and then founded B&B Printing. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Conover.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Jeanette Hunsucker Bolliger of the home; son Charles Robert Bolliger and wife, Paula of Catawba; daughter, Barbara Ann Pumm and husband Vernon of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren Kevin Eugene Cook, Wendy Ann Miller, Charles Robert Bolliger, Jr. and Bradley Patrick Bolliger; great grandchildren Cory Cook; Alysa Cook, Christopher Miller, Cody Miller, Ella Bolliger, Anna Bolliger, Lorelei Bolliger, Adelaide Bolliger, and Theron Robert Bolliger; step-mother, Mary Bolliger of Grafton, WV; and step-brother Charles Dunigan of Pittsburgh, PA.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at St. John’s Lutheran Church. Rev. Scott Johnson will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church, 2126 St. Johns Church Road, Conover, NC.
