Steve was a good man who loved his family and friends. He was a veteran of the US Army. Steve retired from Hickory Chair after 50 years, where he worked as an upholster. Steve always had a big garden that he was very proud of. You could walk through his garden and would never see a weed. He loved to go fishing whenever he could, especially when he was on his boat. Steve and Linda enjoyed taking day trips. They rarely missed a home game at Hickory Crawdads' stadium, and they enjoyed taking trips to Dollywood. Steve was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church.
Those left to cherish Steve’s memory are his beloved wife of 46 years, Linda McCaslin Killian; brother, Leroy J. Killian; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
