Thomas Tom Halbert Glass Jr.

Thomas was born to Rachel Flores Glass and Thomas Halbert Glass Sr. on January 14, 1961 in Chicago, IL. He moved to Florence, SC at a young age shortly after meeting the love of his life, Cindy Glass. In 1992, the family moved to North Carolina where they now reside. Thomas was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, godfather, uncle, cousin, brother-in-law and friend who brought joy to everyone he knew with a truly unique sense of humor. He was a formidable fisherman, die-hard Chicago Bears fan and Nascar fan.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 36 years, Cindy; three children: Thomas, Timothy and Ashley; along with his two grandchildren Ethan and Evan Lafone; and his godson,

Ashton Estala. He is also survived by his mother, Rachel; step-father, John Lopez; father, Thomas Sr.; sister, Isabel Rodriguez; brother, Jason Glass and many other family members.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Conover at 2:00 p.m. with Bishop Jerry Grillo, Jr. officiating.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.
