In addition to her parents, Anita was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Troy Hartsoe; sons, Danny Blackburn, Billy Blackburn, and Larry Blackburn; brothers, Clayton, Sherrill, William and Dean Wright; sisters, Pauline Wallace and Shelby Miller.
Those left to cherish Anita’s memory are her sons, David Blackburn and wife Cathy, Ray Blackburn and Penny, Tim Hartsoe; daughters, Doris Hildebran, Sandra Mecimore and husband Tim; brother, Kenneth Wright; sisters, Mildred Freeman and Roma Richards; 12 grandchildren, three of which she raised as her own children, Tammie Abe, James Blackburn and Wayne Blackburn; 25 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Gathering of friends and family will be held from 12 to 12:45 pm prior to the service.
A funeral service will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Drum Funeral Home with Pastor David Christie officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park Cemetery.
