

Alejandro Segura, a loving husband, devoted father, cherished friend, and beloved brother, died on March 3, 2026, in Conroe, Texas. Alejandro will be remembered for the deep love he had for his family, his joyful spirit, and the way he could make everyone around him laugh. His authenticity, generosity, and strong faith left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Alejandro was born on April 10, 1975, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, to Jose Luis Segura Ramirez and Felicitas Galarza Ordaz. He later married the love of his life, Nancy Reyes, with whom he built a beautiful family. Together they raised their children Evelyn, Felipe, Paula, and Pablo, who were the center of his world. He is survived by his mother, Felicitas, his sister Teresa de Jesus Segura Galarza, her husband and children; his father-in-law Carlos Humberto Reyes, mother-in-law Marta Julia Reyes; brother-in-law Eder Reyes and wife Uyen and nieces, his favorite sister-in-law Delmy Reyes, his nieces, Sarahi, Isabella, Daniela, and Cecilia Hernandez. He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Luis Segura, and his siblings Juan Carlos Segura, Luz Maria Segura, Luis Fernando Segura, and Jose Guadalupe Segura.
Alejandro, as a young guy in Mexico he enjoyed playing soccer, and baseball as well as raising roosters. He aspired to be a Veterinarian but God had other plans for him. Alejandro later migrated to the US where he worked in construction, where he was known as a hardworking and dependable man who took great pride in providing for his family. His work ethic and dedication reflected his deep commitment to those he loved.
A faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Alejandro was actively involved in many ministries and organizations within the church community. He participated in ACTS Apostolate, That Man Is You, and served as a Hospitality Minister. He was also involved in the Marriage Preparation Ministry, Movimiento Familiar Cristiano, Grupo de Jóvenes Adultos, Encuentros de Promoción Juvenil (EPJ). His faith was an important part of his life, and he continually strived to be a better husband, father, and Catholic.
Alejandro loved and enjoyed spending time with his family and church community, especially his kids. He found time to spend with each one of his kids and their own particular interests. He enjoyed playing baseball with Pablo, taking Paula to the library, going to los toros with Felipe, and playing pickleball with Evelyn. He was a devoted fan of the Houston Astros. He enjoyed watching UFC fights, boxing matches, bull riding and charreria. One of his greatest joys was watching his children play sports and seeing them grow and seeing them grow. After a long day at work, no matter how tired, busy, or exhausted he might have been, he always made time to be 100% present, to play with them, talk to them, and have dinner with them.
Outside of sports, Alejandro enjoyed going on skiing trips or to the water park, playing cards on Sunday with his family and extended family. He loved spending time with his family and church community, and he always had a helping hand for others–especially his sister-in-law Delmy. He was known for his humor, Alejandro was a jokester who expressed himself through laughter and sarcasm. Often bringing joy, smiles, and even a few head shakes to those around him. He wasn’t afraid to speak his mind and was admired for his authenticity and honesty.
Above all, Alejandro loved his family more than himself. He loved his wife Nancy deeply and treasured every moment with his children. He valued staying close with his extended family and made a genuine effort to remain connected with his mother, sister, and his in-laws. His kindness, humor, and unwavering love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

Disfrutaba jugar béisbol con Pablo, llevar a Paula a la biblioteca, ir a los toros con Felipe y jugar pickleball con Evelyn. Era un aficionado devoto de los Houston Astros. Le gustaba ver peleas de UFC, combates de boxeo, rodeos y charrería. Una de sus mayores alegrías era ver a sus hijos practicar deportes y crecer. Después de un largo día de trabajo, sin importar lo cansado o ocupado que estuviera, siempre se daba tiempo para estar plenamente presente, jugar con ellos, hablar y cenar juntos.
Fuera del deporte, Alejandro disfrutaba de viajes para esquiar o ir a parques acuáticos, así como jugar cartas los domingos con su familia y familiares extendidos. Le encantaba compartir tiempo con su familia y su comunidad de la iglesia, y siempre estaba dispuesto a ayudar a los demás, especialmente a su cuñada Delmy. Era conocido por su sentido del humor; Alejandro era bromista y se expresaba a través de la risa y el sarcasmo, a menudo llevando alegría, sonrisas e incluso algunas sacudidas de cabeza a quienes lo rodeaban. Visitation will be held at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, TX 77303, on March 26, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with the Rosary from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The Funeral Service will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 109 N Frazier St, Conroe, TX 77301, on March 27, 2026, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm, followed by the Committal Service at Garden Park Cemetery, 801 Teas Rd, Conroe, TX 77303.
Pallbearers will be Felipe Segura, Carlos Reyes, Miguel Hernandez, Jose Ochoa, Juan Ochoa, Alexis Ochoa, Eder Reyes, and Ramiro Reyes.
