With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Barbara Jean Sharp, age 81, on November 15, 2024 in Conroe, TX. She was born on June 11, 1943 in Decaturville, TN to Clifford and Louise (Myracle) Wyatt. Barbara lived her early years in Decaturville, TN. In her adult life, she started out in St. Louis, MO and then relocated to Spring, TX in 1972. She finally found her home in Montgomery, TX where she was currently living.
Barbara primarily worked her adult life as a group manager for AT&T where she retired from. Upon retirement, she spent time working for Cast Away Rods as a secretary.
Barbara was a very sweet and loving person who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her precious Yorkie, Daisy. She also enjoyed planning annual cruises with her daughter so they could sit and watch the calm seas together.
A lifelong person of faith, Barbara was member of April Sound Church and attended many other churches over the years. She enjoyed attending Ladies Silver Bells meetings at the Walden Church and was a member of the Ladies Association of Walden. Outside of organized group activities, she looked forward to her weekly card games with her dearest friends and a regular bunco group.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Louise (Myracle) Wyatt; brother, Don (Myracle) Wyatt; son, Richard Joseph Lowther; and ex-husband Richard Lowther. She is survived by her daughter Kimberly (Lowther) Frank and husband, Steven; granddaughter Taylor Tunning; step-grandchildren, Alexa Frank and Christopher Frank; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
A celebration of life visitation will take place on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, TX, 77303, from 2:00pm till 5:00pm. Inurnment will be on Monday, December 16, 2024 at 2:00pm at Garden Park Cemetery.
