Services for Bethany Jo Meyers, 20, of Minco, were held on Thursday, January 16, 2020, 2pm at the First Baptist Church in Minco. A visitation for Bethany is scheduled for Sunday January 19, 2020 from 5 to 8 at Metcalf funeral Directors in Conroe. Celebration of Life services will be at the Metcalf Funeral Directors in Conroe, Texas on Monday January 20, 2020 at 2pm. Interment will be in Pilgreen Cemetery.
Bethany Jo Meyers was born on October 4, 1999 at Palestine, Texas to Donald Fred and Cynthia Darlene (Chapman) Meyers, she died on Saturday, January 9, 2020 at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City at 20 years of age.
Bethany was raised in Texas attending San Jacinto Intermediate School where she participated as the Tiger Mascot and Pasadena High School where she participated as the Eagle Mascot and was a member of the Round Prairie Baptist Church. Bethany moved to Minco from Elkhart, TX in 2016 and began classes at Minco Public Schools, she was a member of the National Honor Society, a high school cheerleader and girls softball team in her senior year. After graduation Bethany attended Redlands in El Reno and attained her Associates Degree in 2019 and was a first year nursing student. Bethany was a hard worker, was employed at Mac’s Convenience Store in Minco and worked at the Minco High School with in Minds In Motion Program as an assistant teacher as well as cleaning houses in her spare time.
