Billie Lois Springfield

Billie Gammons Springfield was born September 14, 1938 in Lexington, Texas and went home to be with Lord on December 26, 2014 in Conroe, Texas at the age of 76. Billie worked for many years as a Accounting Administrator in the automotive industry. Her life with Ray was her fairy tale come true. They spent many wonderful, loving and hilarious years together. Billie loved her yearly trips to Las Vegas with her Best Friends Shirley, Carolyn, Sandra and Dottie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Alice Beard Gammons, husband Ray Springfield, brothers: Shorty Gammons, Ray Gammons and R.B. Gammons. She is survived by her daughters, Lannie Appleby and husband David of Spring, Texas and Theresa Schrock and husband Don of Conroe, Texas, three stepsons: David Springfield and wife Karma, Craig Springfield and wife Tracey, both of Conroe, Texas and Scott Springfield and wife Christine of Navasota, Texas, brothers Tommy Gammons of Cleveland, Texas and Dink Gammons and wife Linda of Lufkin, Texas, grandchildren: Jessi Cowart, David Appleby, Brittney Havard, Dawn Stabler, Kelly Schrock, Dusty Springfield, Robbie Springfield, Kate Springfield and Austin Cumbow, great grandchildren: Abby Henderson, Nate Cowart, Carter Appleby, Jaxon Appleby, Judd Stabler, June Stabler and Jacque Havard, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 2pm. Funeral service will follow at 3pm in the Cashner Colonial Chapel with Pastor Derrick Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden Park Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be: Nathan Stabler, Buck Havard, Davey Appleby, Bobby Coward, Craig Springfield and Robbie Springfield.
