Bonnie Marie Fruge Thibodeaux

She met the love of her life, Aubrey J. Thibodeaux, Sr., and was married on June 20, 1964. Bonnie and A.J. were residents of Panorama Village since 1989. She was a bookkeeper at Albertsons in Conroe until she retired in 2003. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Conroe. Bonnie was the oldest of four sisters, they were incredibly close and loved each other dearly. They spent many weekends traveling together on what they called “Sister Weekends”. She enjoyed camping with her family, traveling with her husband through the Colorado mountains, and watching the elk in Estes Park. Bonnie loved to cook for her family, she loved the casino, a good bloody mary, and law and order reruns. She was a hard worker, a friend to all and a fantastic grandmother and great grandmother. Bonnie was always up for an adventure and never met anyone who didn’t immediately fall in love with her. Bonnie was commonly referred to as Queen Bee, Bonnie Fru Fru, Bon-Bon, Memers, and known by many as Meme. She was the best wife and mother; she dedicated all her time supporting her husband and children.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Aubrey J. Thibodeaux, Sr., and her parents, Woodrow and Blossom Fruge.

She is survived by her daughter, Monica Russell, sons, A.J. Thibodeaux, Jr. and wife, Troylene, and Michael Thibodeaux and wife, Christie; grandchildren, Jennifer Lanham, Christopher Thibodeaux, Courtney Thibodeaux, Logan Thibodeaux, Aubrey Russell; great grandchildren, Audrey Thibodeaux, Lucas Thibodeaux, Cheyenne Lanham, Lane Lanham, Sarah Beth Lanham, John Matthew Lanham, and Rylee McBay; sisters, Peggy McFarlain, Sara Cormier and Rose Girouard.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Heart to Heart Hospice; Tracy and Brandi, the staff of Encompass Health at Vision Park, her Doctors at Conroe-Willis Family Medicine; Josh DuBose, Nurse Carolynn, and Levi Stone, and her home healthcare aide Kim.
