Funeral services for Charles Carr will be held Sunday, October 9, 2011 at 1:00pm in Cashner Colonial Chapel. Graveside services will be held Monday, October 10, 2011 at 10:00am in Garden Park Cemetery. Charles was born July 1, 1940 in Forrest City, Arkansas to John and Bessie Carr and passed away October 7, 2011 in Conroe, Texas. Charles served our country in the United States Marine Corp. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, John and Bessie Carr and by his brothers, John Carr, Jr and Richard Carr. Left behind to cherish his many loving memories is his wife, Lorraine Carr; son, Wes Carr and his wife Sharene; daughters, Julie Garza and her husband Michael and Becky Riggs and her husband Tony; six grandchildren, Brittney Udell and her husband Eric, Ethian Garza, Liana Garza, Aaron Riggs, Ryan Riggs and Jason Riggs; sister, Betty Smith and her husband Gerald; brother, Thomas Carr and his wife Barbara; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Carr and Peggy Carr. Numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends also survive. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis O’Banion, Mickey McCoy, Rob Swearingen, Paul Brann, Mike Armstrong, Ken McCoy, John Crisp and James Reneau.
