i knew charles thru our affilation with gsu, i worked in beaumont and talked to charles by phone and we met at meetings we both attended, i respected charles for his sincerety , work ethic, and as a personal friend, he called me a few years ago when he first retired and he was doing geneology on famaily and said we were related ,,by marriage a decuir had married a bordelon somewhere , many years ago and he thought he should call me and tell me about that. we had a fine visit and laughed about our relation by marriage. he was that kind of a person , very thoughtful----and i really enjoyed our telephone visit. even though we did not communicate very much ,,i was really moved by charlie's passing. my deepest condolances to the family john bordelon

The photo gallery was so heart warming to me. It brought back memories of Charley and I and the many days we spent together as youngsters. I loved to go to Aunt Ferna and Uncle Charles' house because I knew Charley and I would be able to play and have fun. I loved them all so much. May he rest in peace. You all will be in my prayers.
