Charlotte "Shu Shu" Lynn Franz

Charlotte “Shu Shu” Lynn Franz went to be with her Lord and Savior at MD Anderson hospital in Houston, Texas on December 2, 2015. Charlotte was born to Johnie Marvin Franz Jr. and Barbara Ellen Hawkins on August 19, 1969 in Newgulf, Texas. Charlotte was a dedicated employee of 21 years for Hewlett Packard, she enjoyed making memories fishing and hunting with her father. She loved traveling the world with her mother and always had a passion for quilting and photography. Charlotte is preceded in death by her grandparents, John Lionell Hawkins and Jessie Marie Adams, Johnie Marvin Franz, Sr. and Lera Ardis Fitzgerald; uncle, Jack Hawkins; aunt, Nelda Mae Franz; sister, Donna Selcer; and her cousin, Roger Clark who walked the walk with her last year and then went onto be there to greet her when she arrived. She is survived by her mother, Barbara Ellen Hawkins; father, Johnie Marvin Franz Jr; her loving step-mother, Nancy Hanna Franz; brothers, John Michael Franz, Jeffery Lionell Franz and wife Christie; sister, Deborah Popek; aunts, Dorothy M. Kennedy, Betty Ann Bullock, Doris Lee Reid and Lytha Hawkins; great-uncle, Charles A. Fitzgerald and wife Esther; great-aunt, Thelma Franz. A Celebration of Charlotte’s Life will be held on Monday, December 7, 2015 at Northside Christian Church in Spring, Texas beginning at 10:00am. We would like to thank all of Charlotte’s friends at Hewlett Packard and the staff of MD Anderson Palliative Care for the love and support you not only showed her, but the family also.
