

Daniel served his country in the U.S. Navy. Chief Wiesepape was assigned to three duty stations during his career covering a span of 12 years. His first duty assignment was IBU 15. The second duty assignment was MSRON 1 Boat Det 112. The third duty assignment was MSRON Boat Det B. Chief Wiesepape was deployed two times. First, December 2002 through September 2003 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom to Kuwait. His second deployment was May 2006 through June 2007 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Chief Wiesepape was awarded three navy achievement metals in his career. He was awarded a Navy Reserve Metal and various other campaign metals. He was currently on active duty with the U.S. Navy where he served as a Chief Petty Officer. Chief Wiesepape was assigned as weapons officer for MSRON 1 Boat Det B. He served in law enforcement for 23 years with Harris County Sheriffs Department, College Station Police Department and for the last 9 years he was a deputy with the Montgomery County Sheriffs Department.
He was a member of the Lone Star Cowboy Church and a life time member of the Houston Livestock Show and served on the Horse Equipment Committee.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Melissa Wiesepape; daughters Sydney and Madison Wiesepape and sons Christian Wiesepape, Tyler and Taylor Denner. He is also survived by his mother and stepfather Florence and Donald Holmes and his brother Michael and wife Connie Wiesepape; nieces and nephews Michael, Ashley, Edward, and Katelynn Wiesepape. He was preceded in death by his father Edward Lee Wiesepape.
A visitation will be held at Metcalf Funeral Directors, in Conroe, Texas on Wednesday, July 27, 2011, from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held at Lone Star Cowboy Church in Montgomery, Texas on July 28, 2011 at 10:00 am with interment in the Veterans cemetery in Houston at 12:30. .
