Darrell Waddell

Darrell Waddell, 84 of Conroe passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022. He was born October 5, 1937 in Groves, Texas to Robert and Thelma Waddell. He also lived in West Orange, Texas. He graduated from Orange high school.

Darrell served in the Texas Army National Guard for many years. He was a truck driver by trade for most of his career years. He started as a Lays potato chip deliverer and retired from Emery Air Freight. He enjoyed gardening, music, fishing, and hunting, and talking politics. He loved to cook, especially for his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son Jack Worsham. Darrell leaves behind his loving wife Dorothy, children Sandra Dial, Kimberly Colley and husband Charles, Roy Worsham and wife Lori, and Teresa Richard and husband Mike, 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, and numerous other family members. He also leaves his 3 boxer babies, Phoebe Matilda, Boudreaux, and Baby. Darrell & Dorothy was married on October 21, 1995.

Visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2022 at Cashner Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow visitation and are set to begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow services at Garden Park Cemetery.
