David M. Perkins

David M. Perkins passed away Peacefully at his home in Montgomery, Texas, on April 15, 2026. He was born on May 27, 1946, in Houston, Texas, to Doy and Eina Mat Perkins. David loved restoring and collecting classic cars. He also enjoyed helping his friends restore and purchase classic cars. David worked with Gullo Ford for many years and looked forward to attending car auctions around the country with Mr. Gullo. He worked at Gullo Classic Cars in Montgomery for the past few years. He enjoyed swap meets, where he met up with old friends and made new ones. David never slowed down and still enjoyed working.

David was preceded in death by his parents, his son David L. Perkins, and his brother Bobby Perkins. He is survived by his daughter Whitney Ramirez and her husband Ramiro; grandsons Steven Ramirez, and Wesley Ramirez and his wife Jesi; granddaughter Breanna Perkins; great-grandchildren Zane, Aiden, Summer, Brody, Greyson, and numerous friends.

A celebration of David’s life will take place on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 10:00am, at Cashner Funeral Home.
