illness. She was born on December 27, 1944 to Charles and Virginia Fairchild in San
Francisco, CA. She married Johnny Bill Davey on February 1, 1964 in Carl Junction, MO where
they lived and raised their family. She moved to Conroe in 2012 to help care for her youngest
granddaughter but always loved and missed Missouri.

room mother, PTA officer, Girl Scout leader, Project Graduation organizer, field trip chaperone,
and more. She attended all sporting events, band concerts, and choir performances in support
of her children. She loved kids, and her home was always open to anyone that wanted to eat
dinner, ask for advice, or even stay for extended periods of time. Family was more than just
blood relatives.
As a graduate of MSSC, Dee Lynn embraced her Lion pride through service to the alumni
board and was a long-time member of the Lionbackers. Prior to graduating she worked for the
US Postal Service and had her own tax business. After graduation she worked for Empire
District Electric Company as a rate analyst for 25+ years until her retirement. She also served
on the Carl Junction City Council.
Dee Lynn was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 59 years, Johnny Bill, her parents,
brothers Paul and Glen Fairchild, sister Lee Anne Sweezy, sons John and Sean Davey,
grandson Sean Lycan, and son-in-law Jorge Keitel.
