Delores Elaine Oliver Huling was called home to be with her Heavenly Father on March 29, 2026, at the age of 82 in Montgomery County, Texas. Delores was born on June 21, 1943, in Angelina County, TX. She lived her fullest and most spirited years in Morgan County, Tennessee—a place she proudly called home.”
Delores was one of a kind. She was lovingly known far and wide as “The Hog Lady”. Fiercely independent, strong-willed, and unapologetically herself, she built a life around hard work, resilience, and a deep love for her hogs. Known throughout her community for buying, selling, and trading, she earned her nickname honestly and wore it like a badge of honor. Whether striking a deal or lending a hand, she believed in doing things her way—the hard way—and respected others who did the same.
She was a woman of contradictions in the best sense: tough as nails, yet generous to her core. Delores would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need, never hesitating to help others even when she had little herself. She was known for her humor, her grit, and for never—ever—wearing shoes.
Many will remember her voice and presence on “Treytime,” where she delighted in calling in to chat with the town and, of course, talk about her hogs. She brought laughter, authenticity, and a bit of wild spirit wherever she went.
Delores is survived by her children, Vivian Elaine Smith, David George Goslin, and Donald Allen Goslin; her sister, Margaret Ann McClosky Leubner; her brother, Tony Felix McClosky Jr.; along with 25 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward her strength, independence, and unmistakable spirit.
She was preceded in death by her son Fredrick William Schiveley, mother, Mary Branning Smith, grandparents, Pearl and Willie Branning, and uncle, Buddy Branning, US Marine Corp.
A celebration of life will be held on June 20, 2026. Time and location will be announced at a later date.
Delores lived boldly, loved fiercely, and never settled for simple. She leaves behind a legacy as unforgettable as the life she lived.
