Denny Lee McGee passed away on March 14, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was born in Oklahoma City, OK on August 12, 1936 to Arthur and Thelma McGee. Denny worked for Dow Chemical for 25 years as a Mechanical Engineer and retired in 1988. He was associated with Pony baseball and coached Little League in Houston, TX. During his retirement Denny enjoyed playing golf in which he made 3 holes in one. Denny and his wife Karen took great pride in building their own log home in Willis, TX when Denny retired.
Denny is survived by his high school sweetheart of 61 years, Karen Peacock McGee, daughter, Melinda Adams and husband Frank, sons, Michael McGee and wife Kim; Mark McGee and wife Robin, grandchildren, Justin McGee and wife Jennifer, Jordan McGee, Matthew McGee, Melinda McGee; Amy Renken and husband Zachary and great grandson Carter Renken.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 17, 2017 at 3:00pm in Cashner Colonial Chapel with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment will follow in Garden Park Cemetery.
