

“Donnie”, as he was called by his family and friends, was born to the late Seaborn and Virginia Fuller on September 28, 1949, in Houston, Texas. After graduating from Sam Houston High School he joined The United States Navy. While on a ship heading for Vietnam, he received notification that his father had fallen ill and was allowed to return home to care for his family. On June 3, 1969, Donnie joined The Houston Police Department where he served the city for nearly 21 years, retiring on March 5, 1990.
During his time on the department, Donnie married Reba Dawn Fuller in 1975; they had two sons, David and Chad. He also developed a love for buying and selling cars. His post-HPD career began when he and his brother, David, started Regal Automotive. His identity as a wheeler-dealer, “Automan” was solidified. He and David shared a successful business for over a decade.
Following his retirement, Donnie spent the remainder of the next decade loving and caring for his wife. Reba preceded Donnie in death on April 12, 2014.
Donnie is survived by his two sons, David Fuller and his wife Cheri. Chad Fuller, his wife Joanna, and their two beautiful girls, Bellamy and Shiloh. He also leaves behind his brother David Fuller and his wife Vicki, his sister Tina Schick, several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, Texas 77303, on April 9, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
