He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Betty Sue Hardy formally Drehle; daughter Linda K. Craig, Son Michael a Hardy, daughter Patricia Ann Loyall.Sister Vivian Grace. Eight Grandchildren; Mathew, Robert T, Christina, Colleen, Robby, Jesse, Katie and Dana and 15 great Grandchildren.
Donald was born August 12th 1926 in Grant City Missouri. He served in the United States Navy during World War II from February 1944 to September 1945. He worked in the construction industry from many years after his military service. Eventually becoming a custom builder in the Kansas City, Missouri and Houston, Texas areas. He retired in Houston and spent most summers in Higginsville, Missouri.
