We always loved walking the dogs on the neighborhood golf course.

Brenda was always such a great friend to her. David Teas planted a special tree in her yard, that she loved so much.

Grandmother also loved making fun of my chunky schnauzer, Sebastian. She called him “little fat boy”

She loved watching Cesar Millan and teaching everyone what she learned.

I have over 12 years of friendship with a beautiful lady that became one of my best friends. Joyce and I were connected thru our pet’s, but our friendship was much deeper.

Often, we would sit on her back porch, while we watched our pets playing in her back yard and I am going to miss those times with her. 
She was a lovely lady, who was devoted to God and is now in His presence with other family members.

I miss you Joyce!

I remember so many celebrations with Joyce !
She enjoyed sitting in her back yard and viewing her beautiful flowers that she had planted and nurtured.

I first met Joyce over 12 years ago, when I was looking for a petsitter.
The two of us connected immediately as we both loved animals.
We lived just around the corner from each other and at times walked our dogs  in the neighborhood together and this  friendship developed over the years!

Phil and Joyce thoroughly enjoyed traveling on a weeks cruise with Richard and me. 

Phil Carpenter was a very special person in the later years of Joyce’s life.  They enjoyed shopping at Habitat for Humanity Thrift Store and always found the greatest treasures and fortunately Joyce had a garage where she could store them.

Joyce and I were cruising the Caribbean and loved traveling together. We never met a stranger and had so many smiles and laughs along the way.

I think she probably just told me to stand up straight, suck it in, and pose for the photo. She always wanted me to dress sharp and carry myself with confidence.

She always told me and my sisters that. This is something I’ll say to my children, and grandchildren one day.

I’ll never forget these hugs. Nothing compares to the feeling. I wish I could re-live this moment one more time.

I remember this trip, because we went to visit my Uncle Danny, but we made so many great memories together. We also got to see Sharon, Kenneth and Barbara. I’ll never forget going down Hollywood Blvd, stopping by the beach, and checking out LaBrea tar pits. We stayed with aunt Barbara for a few nights and heard coyotes howling. Wish I could be back in this moment again.

She was visiting his class Christmas Party. Our Grandmother was always there for us and she loved Daniel so much. He and my dad (Lance Meyer) always worked on her house and never took any payment she offered. I asked them to wrap her pipes last time she was in the hospital and they came to do both of our houses without hesitation. She loved seeing how involved they are in the Church and how selfless they are. She wanted to sit next to Daniel last time we took her to a church service. I remember tearing up seeing her enjoying worship.

She would always make crafty things, and she used to let us help her. Over the last 10 years or so, her favorite medium was spray paint. She would always spray paint things to give it the EJ touch. I’ve got gifts she personalized all around my house, including this memory box (where I keep her photos). 

I’ll treasure my EJ Collection for the rest of my life. She gave me her large collection of paint brushes and I use them for mostly oil paintings.

She missed Danny so much after he passed. We talked about him more and more in recent years, but she is probably talking his ear off in Heaven now. Carol came to visit her a few months ago as well.

She was so proud of Danny’s music career, his book and how intelligent he was. Danny spoke in sarcasm and watching these two together was always comical.

She loved making this face, all of the time. Always making everyone laugh with her silly voices and funny faces. She and I used to always spit out our tongue at each other when we were done bickering.

She was always protective over her grandkids so I was happy when she shared her approval of my husband with me. This picture also shows how great of a dresser she was. She took pride in her clothes and us.

She always knew how to make our babies smile. This video is funny, because Ava didn’t recognize me with my new haircut, and grandmother never wanted me to get it cut.

I enjoyed our banter.

Anyone who knows her, knows that she loved to host anyone for Bible study. She had a complete DVD collection by John Hagee. She loved his ministry. I took this photo during one of the many times she paused the video to expand on the scripture. I’ll never forget the last time we took her to church.

Joyce and I have been the best of friends for nearly 20 years. We shared so many good times together. I was so blessed to be with her everyday until the very end. We laughed and we cried. I will miss you so much my friend.

She loved her Grandchildren and her pets!  She was always rescuing pets. Usually dogs or wildlife. She raised a few squirrels, even built them a small habitat and watched over them until they were healthy.

I’m sorry to hear of Joyce’s passing. She was a kind lady. She loved her dogs,  saved many others and found homes for so many.  She was always willing to chat when I was walking my dogs past her house. She will be missed. May she rest in peace.

Joyce was a good neighbor and friend. She loved all dogs and took them in often. She had a pretty smile and was so friendly. I am sorry she suffered at the end but know she is at peace now .  Prayers for all her family. Rest In Peace dear Joyce.

My brother, Ronald, and I are so sorry to hear about Aunt Joyce’s passing. Our condolences to all the family. She will be missed! We remember all the fun times growing up and spending time with her and our cousins - especially the family get togethers during the holidays.

Gave her a good laugh when I dressed up as a duck for a volunteer event. I loved her coming out to support whatever I had going on.

This was the first time she held her first great grandbaby, Ava. She always knew what to say♥️

Kathy always made gourmet meal, while Joyce and Tori used to pick the bottle of wine.

Her favorite season was fall. It was important to her that the babies always had a pumpkin to celebrate the start of the season. She loved to decorate and enjoyed a good trip to hobby lobby for all the seasons.

Stephan and Jill , I’m so sorry for your loss. I pray for peace and comfort for you all the family. I love you all. She will always be remembered ,  and never forgotten. Rest in peace Aunt Joyce . I loved you dearly.

This is grandmother holding her cake on Mother’s Day! Her favorite cake was actually strawberry shortcake! I have so many wonderful memories with her! I will always remember going to her house when we were young, we’d go swimming, eat watermelon by the pool, and then go searching for lost golf balls on the golf course! She’d cook us spaghetti a lot too and it was just a blast getting to spend time with her!!

Joyce always made sure to tell Victor to treat Tori with love and respect, just how Bill treated her. She told him how incredible he has been as a father and husband.

We loved listening to music, but both of us always had too much to talk about. Some of her favorite artists were Shania Twain, Randy Travis and anything on 89.3 KSBJ

Joyce loved topping off any nice outfit with accessories. She got warm cookies and mother of pearl on this day

We always used to enjoy telling each other about the great deals we would find. Joyce had a passion for re-purposing and loved making custom crafts her whole life

The amount of joy shared through the memories we shared cannot be measured. I am forever grateful that my son Nicholas was able to meet his great grandmother. Thank you grandmother for being a pillar of light in my family’s life. We will forever cherish your memory.

We shared so many beautiful birthdays, mother’s days and holidays together. I’m proud to hold her name.

She was a wonderful grandmother. Some of the best memories included us swimming together  and her helping me to prepare for my homecomings and prom. She loved children and had cared for many in daycare when she was young. She made great memories with her great granddaughter in her garden before her passing and I’m grateful for that. She is and will be deeply missed.
