Eleanor Colette Antunez, the biggest little fighter, was healed forever on Monday, December 4, 2023. She spent her last moments surrounded by her family. Eleanor was born December 11, 2022, in Houston, Texas to Mauricio and Elizabeth Antunez. She graced this earth for a short 11 months but touched so many lives.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Miguel Medina. Eleanor is survived by her parents Mauricio and Elizabeth, sister Catherine Antunez, maternal grandmother Maria Medina, paternal grandparents Rosa Antunez and Asencion Antunez, aunts, uncles and cousins, Dino and Lisbeth Retana and children Frank, Sofia, Emma, Olivia, and Anthony, Miguel and Leticia Medina and children Landon, Aurora, and Christian, Danny Medina and children Ella, Lilah, and Matthew, Claudia Antunez and children Briana, Carolina, Lionel, Leeah, and Andre.
Eleanor loved to be held in the comfort of her parent’s arms, holding hands. Her tiny feet were a source of love and laughter for big sister, Catherine. All people that met her would immediately recognize her by the luscious lashes that lined her beautiful eyes. Her life was filled with love and support from all family, friends, and medical professionals. There are no words to explain the pain of loss, but there is joy in knowing that she is safe in the arms of Jesus.
