Jane will be remembered as compassionate, hard-working, loyal, wise, and humorous, leaving a lasting imprint on all who knew her.
Jane came from a large family, with nine sisters and six brothers. In the 1950’s, she was Ms. Cocoa Beach, a distinction remembered with pride by those who loved her and knew her story.
On June 9, 1990, Jane married Tommy Wagner. Their marriage was a meaningful part of her life and the family they shared remained central to her days and her devotion. Jane worked for Capro in Willis from 1982 - 1992 as shipping clerk and that is where she met Tommy when he delivered the freight through Roadway. Jane loved gardening and spent as much time as she could outside. She also enjoyed Yahtzee and fishing—simple pleasures that reflected her steady spirit and her appreciation for time spent with others.
Above all, Jane had a huge heart. She loved animals, and she loved her kids and family deeply. Her compassionate presence, loyal support, and wise counsel will be remembered with gratitude, and her humor will be missed in the everyday moments where it so often brought comfort and light.
Jane is preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and seven sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy Wagner; children, Melody McJunkins, James J. Booth and his wife Melissa, Sandra Carlene Belcher, Dennis Dewey Quick and his wife Valerie; step children, Steven Wagner Sr, Cheryl Wagner and her husband Trent; ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, sisters, Martha Fay Edwards and Linda Manuel, as well as numerous other family members and friends.
