

Fannie Mae Hayden Brown went to be with the Lord on November 3, 2016. She passed away in her home at the age of 102. Fannie was born on May 23, 1914 to Chris Hayden and Maggie May Perry. She was raised near Conroe. She lived as an adult in Houston but upon retirement returned to Conroe for the remainder of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings and her son Paul J. Brown Jr. She is survived by her grandson Paul J. Brown III, his wife Kristi Brown and great-granddaughters Sierra and Chloe Brown, her Daughter-in-law Debbie Brown, her former Daughter-in-law Linda Brown & husband Clayton Brown and their children Tracy Immegart & husband Ryan Immegart, Chance Brown, Ashton Brown & wife Randi Brown and Austin Brown as well as their children Ethan & Noah Immegart, Corbyn Brown and Ashtin Brown as well as many nieces and nephews.She began her career during World War II as a machine operator. She later began an apprenticeship with the Hughes Tool Company and became a professional welder. She retired from Hughes Tool Company after more than 36 years of service. She was an avid fisherman and loved working in her yard. She led a very active and full life and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Friday, November 11th at Cashner Funeral Home at 801 Teas Rd Conroe, TX 77303. The funeral services will be held at Cashner on Saturday, November 12th at 10am. Paul Corley will be officiating. A special thanks to Ms. Brenda Campbell for helping to care for Fannie in her final months.
