Funeral services for Faye D Carpenter will be held Friday, November 22, 2013 at 12:30pm in Cashner Colonial Chapel with burial following at Woodlawn Cemetery in Houston, Texas. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Faye was born October 9, 1924 in Oakhurst, Texas to Harmon and Bessie Dolive and passed away on November 19, 2013 in Houston, Texas. Faye was a member of The Ark Church of Conroe where she was very active and involved in the Senior Group. She is preceded in death by her parents; Harmon and Bessie Dolive by her husband, W L Carpenter and by her daughter, Renee Cokas. Faye is survived by her daughter, Gail Glidewell and her husband Michael of Houston; a brother, R.E. (Buddy) D’Olive and his wife Jean of Conroe; grandchildren, Kristen Cokas, Brandon Glidewell and wife Valerie, Chad Glidewell and; great grandchildren; Chloe, Lily, Lexi and Grayson Glidewell. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
