I was just speaking of Frances last night. She and I received our 25 year membership pins in The Order of the Eastern Star together at Conroe #710. She and her mother Ethel were long time, hard working members. When  I reminisce about my membership in Conroe #710 they are a big part of those who I looked to for guidance.

It was such a blessing to know Frances. She always made you feel a part of the family. Heaven has received an angle that will be dearly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time. May the Grace of God be with all.

Frances and I were initiated into Conroe #710, Order of the Eastern Star in 1988 and as such in 2013 we were presented with our 25-year pins together. She was a very sweet person, a very active member (and Ethel) in OES and she always had a cheerful word to say and a smile on her face. Whenever I think of Frances or Ethel I smile. I send condolences to her family, friends and her sisters and brothers in OES.

Aunt Frances was a figure in my life growing up that I always desired to be around.  She was so kind, caring, and genuine.  She had a way of making you feel like you are the most special person in the world.  My father seen her as a second mom and loved her very much.  My time with her was always cherished and I have never heard anyone say anything but great admiration about her.  I know the family is hurting at this lose, but know she has left each one of you with great skills on how to live a great life.  I pray God will comfort you and bring you peace knowing she lived a life we all could only dream of living.  

She was such a lovely lady, so warm and gracious. She made the world a better place and will be greatly missed.

Memaw was her name to us grandkids. She was the most sweetest,kindest,wonderful person anyone could know. I was her first granddaughter,and to me she hung the moon. She taught me many things ,including how to play “I dropped my dolly”, on the play piano. My fondest memories are thanksgiving and Christmas. She took ,and treated all of us grandkids every summer for our entertainment. She was definitely the heart of the family,and will be missed everyday. I know she is with the lord,and no longer suffering which gives me comfort.I will not say goodbye to her,but I will say “ I’ll see you later,because in 40 or 50 years,I get to join Her and the others that passed on,,and we’ll never have to part again.

She was a lovely kind lady who always had a smile, and a kind word. Her home was a welcoming place with warmth and joy. This light will be missed, but celebrated each day of the rest of our lives. We, who mourn, are lucky to have known such a lovely lady, and will carry her kindness forward through all the years of our lives. 

Mom lived a very happy and fulfilled life. She was until recently an active member of The Order of the Eastern Star, The Laurel Club and a member of The First Baptist Church in Conroe. In her last days, she was happy.  Mom knew that something better was about to happen and she told us all she was OK. She was ready for whatever Jesus had in mind for her, she wasn't sad or afraid.  Mom is at Peace and happy for a life well lived.

We are saddened by the passing of Frances.  She was a member of Conroe Chapter # 710 Order of the Eastern Star.  She was initiated on April 7, 1988 into the Order of the Eastern Star.  She was an Endowed Member of 33 years.  We have some memories shared by our members.

I have known France for around 40 years. She was a super fine lady. She will be sorely missed.


Aunt Frances was a very special person to Carl and me. She had the kindest heart and always wanted to speak kindly about everyone. If the world had more people like her we would have heaven on earth. She will be terribly missed.. She gave the best big Texas hugs in the world.

Aunt Frances always had a way of just making you feel loved and special when she was around you. I shall always cherish all the memories of the family get togethers.  She will truly be missed. Just know that each of you have all my thoughts and prayers during this time.
