Elaine lived a very full and exciting life. She loved to travel and always said she was a gypsy at heart.Her favorite place was South Lake Tahoe. They owned homes there for years and would go once a year and often with friends. When her husband of over 64 years retired, they traveled with their two granddaughters mostly for fun and sometimes in search of beanie babies.
Elaine was giving, kind and selfless to all that she loved. She cherished her husband, family and friends. Elaine made friends wherever she went, even if it was the grocery checker. She always had an ear to lend no matter how busy she was.
Elaine’s love for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren was like no other. They will all remember her as a nurturing soul, always ready with a comforting word, encouraging story and unwavering support.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Otto and Velma Meyers, her brother Herb, and three sisters Angela, Diane, and Trudi.
Elaine’s memory will be cherished and kept alive by her husband Rudy, her children Anna Watkins, Bob Ramirez and spouse Kimberlie Stokes, Janine Riggs and spouse Randy, and Michael Ramirez; her grandchildren Taylor Ricketts and spouse Cody, Ashley McDonald and spouse Brian, Thomas Riggs and spouse Ariel, Taylor Fox and spouse Joel, Travis Riggs, Evan Stokes, and Tyler Stokes; and her great grandchildren Carter, Landon, and Autumn and her sister Vikki Walton.
A celebration of life memorial service for Frances will be held Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Metcalf Funeral Directors, 1801 East White Oak Terrace, Conroe, Texas 77304.
